Characteristics:
- Medium-density wax with titanium dioxide.
- It is highly malleable and does not form stringy strands.
- It does not cause irritation or redness.
- Effective at removing short and coarse hair.
- It has a delicate vanilla scent.
Thanks to the addition of specific ingredients, the wax has unique properties and benefits:
- Film Wax has a lower melting point of 40–45°C
- Film Wax ensures complete coverage of the treated area, capturing all hairs close to the skin’s surface, allowing for hair removal from hard-to-reach areas on the first try
- Applied in a thin layer using a spatula, regardless of the direction of hair growth
- The applied layer of Film Wax does not break during removal
- Film Wax adheres only to the hair, not to the skin, which reduces pain and skin irritation during the procedure
- Film Wax hardens more slowly (5–12 seconds), which warms the skin and allows for the removal of even short and coarse hair
- Film Wax is removed as a single layer, removing all hair from the root, leaving no broken hairs, irritation, or redness
- The number of applications per treated area is 3 times lower compared to traditional hot wax
- Significantly reduces the duration of the hair removal treatment
- 38% more economical to use compared to classic hot wax
Why use Film Wax?
- Compared to traditional hot wax, Hot Film wax is more flexible, malleable, has a lower melting point, and adheres better to the hair.
- Lower temperature: Italwax melts at 41°C, which is very close to normal body temperature, so it never causes skin burns.
- Unlike soft wax, Hot Film wax adheres only to the hair, not to the skin. This reduces discomfort and pain during the treatment. This property is extremely important for facial waxing, where excessive skin tension can cause premature wrinkles.
- Hot Film wax hardens quickly and speeds up the procedure, but remains flexible even after hardening. The applied layer does not crack during removal.
- Hot Film wax is applied regardless of the direction of hair growth. The wax removes hair along with the roots, thanks to its strong adhesion to the hair, no matter which direction it is applied in.
- The flexible Hot Film wax conforms to the body’s curves and removes all hair in sensitive areas with 100% effectiveness in a single application.
- Italwax Hot Film wax is applied in a very thin layer, ensuring economical wax usage.
Why is Hot Film wax intended only for the face, bikini area, underarms, and torso?
- Hair consists of a visible part that sits above the skin and a lower part called the hair follicle or hair root. The human body has as many as 5 million hair follicles capable of producing various types of hair. There are two main types of hair.
- Most of the hair covering the human body is fine and colorless. This is vellus hair, and it helps regulate body temperature. The root of vellus hair is close to the surface and has a small bulb. In contrast, the hair found in several areas, such as the scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes, beard, armpits, torso, and bikini area, is thicker, longer, has more pigment, and is called terminal hair. The bulb of terminal hair is located much deeper in the skin and is significantly larger compared to vellus hair.
- Terminal hair is removed exclusively using Hot Film wax. Hot Film wax is applied in a thin layer to the skin’s surface and hardens within 4–10 seconds. During this time, the skin warms up, the pores open, and the hair becomes smoother and softer. This makes it easier to remove them from the roots without breaking them, as the pores are open and the muscles around the hair follicles are relaxed. The treatment is more effective when Hot Film wax is used on areas with terminal hair.
Directions for use:
- Heat the wax to a working temperature of 40–45°C
- To degrease the skin and remove any cosmetic residue, wash the area to be waxed with an alcohol-based lotion before applying Aloe wax.
- Using a spatula, apply a thin layer of wax regardless of the direction of hair growth, but toward yourself, and leave a small “tab” that will later be used as a grip (for underarm hair removal, apply in a single pass). NOTE – Do not rush during application; press the spatula firmly using the necessary force.
- The wax will harden within 4–10 seconds. During this time, the wax will completely capture all the hair (when ready for removal, the wax should not stick to your hands).
- Stretch the skin in the opposite direction of the pull, then remove the wax with a quick motion away from you and parallel to the skin.
- Repeat the steps on the next area.
- After finishing the waxing, apply Cooling Gel or Orchid Emulsion to the skin—oil-free products with soothing and cooling properties.
Warning! Avoid waxing skin with wounds, acne, burns, or varicose veins. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes. Keep out of reach of children.

Common mistakes:
- The wax stretches like caramel and is difficult to remove.
Cause: The wax has not hardened yet.
What to do: Sprinkle a little talcum powder on the wax, wait 2–3 seconds, and remove.
- Some hair remains after removing the wax.
Cause: The wax was not pressed firmly enough with the spatula during application, and the hair was not properly adhered.
What to do: Apply wax to the remaining hair. Press the wax more firmly, pressing the spatula against the area where the hair is being removed.
- The wax does not harden.
Cause: The wax layer is too thick.
What to do: Carefully “spread” the applied wax over a larger area. Next time, apply a thinner layer of wax.
- The edges of the wax remain on the skin after removal.
Cause: uneven application of wax.
What to do: apply an even layer of wax in the center and along the edges.
Precautions:
- Product for professional use only; keep out of reach of children; store in a place inaccessible to children.
- Warning! Before starting the waxing process, be sure to check the temperature of the heated wax to ensure it is not too high! Excessively high wax temperature poses a risk of skin burns!
- Do not use for purposes other than intended.
- Avoid waxing areas of skin with wounds, sunburn, irritation, varicose veins, or acne. Avoid contact with eyes! In case of contact with eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes. Keep away from children!!!
Contraindications for hair removal:
- Acute and chronic skin conditions in the area to be treated.
