Preparing the natural nail plate before a manicure involves several steps—each of which affects the durability and/or appearance of the finished manicure. One of the products used at this stage is the MollyNails Acid Primer—its application is tailored to the technique used and the condition of the nail plate. The MollyNails Acid Primer is an acid primer intended for professional use.
It is applied to a previously prepared and degreased nail plate (after using Nail Prep or Dehydrator) and before applying the base coat. Its purpose is to etch the nail plate and increase the adhesion of the design. It is applied in a small amount exclusively to the surface of the nail and left to dry completely. Only then can subsequent products be applied.
The acid primer is used in hybrid, gel, acrylic, and acrygel manicures.
