The BASIC galvanic cosmetic device is designed for galvanization and iontophoresis.

Galvanization is a treatment that uses direct current. During the treatment, we move the electrode across the skin surface, causing the displacement of ions inside the body, and thus hyperemia of the skin and improved tension.

Iontophoresis, on the other hand, involves introducing charged particles – ions – through the skin using a device that emits a galvanic direct current.

Application:

Galvanization is effective for neuralgia, vascular neurosis of the skin, frostbite, rosacea, dilated blood vessels (telangiectasia), and atrophic and sallow skin.

In galvanization, two electrodes are active: the anode (calming effect) and the cathode (stimulating effect).

How to use:

Apply the electrode to a cleansed, moist face and move it slowly. The treatment should last approx. 15-20 minutes and be performed in a series. The treatment can also be performed using a sheet mask. Apply a suitably selected mask to the client's face, then set up the galvanization device. Apply the electrode to the face and move it over the moist mask. Warn the client that they may experience a metallic taste in their mouth.
