The buffer differs from a file mainly in the material used for the filling. The sponge that covers the center of the buffer is much thicker and more elastic than in the case of a traditional hard file. This makes the polisher safer and the pressure is cushioned so that the nail structure is not damaged.

Don't be misled by the gradation! Even if the file and buffer have the same grit, you must bear in mind that the buffer will be gentler because the abrasive material is applied to a sponge and not to paper, as in the case of a file.

Keep in mind that a well-chosen shape of both the file and the buffer will reduce the working time to a minimum and ensure comprehensive treatment of the edges, surface, and sides of the nails.

The product is available in three shapes and two grades:

• Medium - 100/180 - stronger, thicker grit with two buffer variants - the best choice before, for example, hybrid or gel styling to mattify the natural nail and increase the adhesion of the base.
• Soft - 180/240 - a softer, finer grit with two buffer variants - can be used as a follow-up product after the medium grade for precise nail smoothing.
