FILM WAX is ITALWAX’s latest-generation wax. Unlike traditional wax, film wax melts at temperatures as low as 40–50°C, eliminating the risk of burns. Film Wax hardens more slowly, which softens the hair follicles and opens the pores, thereby reducing the pain of hair removal. Even the finest hairs are removed, and because FILM WAX is applied in a thin layer (approx. 1 mm), hair removal is very economical!

FILM WAX AZULENE—a transparent wax specially formulated for uneven surfaces, such as the knees or the bikini area. It hardens quickly, allowing you to complete the hair removal treatment faster than ever. Effective at removing thick and short hairs. Ideal for underarms and deep bikini areas.

Directions for use:

1. Waxing should not be used by people suffering from skin diseases, varicose veins, or capillary issues. Various types of wounds, open sores, inflammation, or fresh scars also prevent waxing. Pregnant women should use this form of hair removal only during the first trimester.
2. If you want to remove hair with wax, remember that the hair must be at least 1 cm long. A few days before waxing, avoid tanning—whether in a tanning bed, at the beach, or in a sauna. The day before waxing, perform a thorough exfoliation to remove dead skin cells, under which hairs may be hidden. It’s not recommended to use lotions, creams, or oils that could leave an oily film on your skin. In that case, the wax won’t be able to adhere to your skin, and the waxing won’t work.
3. If you have very sensitive skin, choose a special wax containing titanium dioxide with soothing properties, or waxes formulated for sensitive skin with soothing chamomile and aloe vera. Do not apply wax to irritated skin.
4. The wax should be heated in a wax heater using a special saucepan or in a double boiler.
5. Once the wax reaches the right consistency (runny), you can begin the treatment.
6. Wax heated to the optimal temperature is applied evenly; it does not pull or burn.
7. Apply the wax with a spatula, following the direction of hair growth.
8. After about 10 seconds, the wax is ready to be removed.
9. Then, with a swift motion close to the skin, pull the wax off in the opposite direction (against the grain of hair growth).
10. To avoid pain when removing the wax, gently stretch the skin.
11. You can apply a post-waxing cream that slows hair regrowth; this will make the hair softer and thinner, and future waxing sessions will be easier and less painful.

The device can heat the wax to a maximum temperature of 85°C.

• Avoid waxing skin with open wounds, acne, burns, or varicose veins.
• In case of contact with the eyes, rinse with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes.
