Why use Film Wax hot wax?

Compared to traditional hot wax, Hot Film wax is more flexible, malleable, has a lower melting point, and adheres better to hair.

• Lower temperature: Italwax melts at 41°C, which is very close to normal body temperature, so it never causes skin burns.
• Unlike soft wax, Hot Film wax only sticks to the hair and not to the skin. This reduces discomfort and pain during the treatment. This property is extremely important for facial waxing, where excessive skin tension can cause premature wrinkles.

Why is Hot Film wax only intended for the face, bikini line, underarms, and torso area?

• Hair consists of a visible part that is above the skin and a lower part that is called the hair follicle or hair root. There are as many as 5 million hair follicles on the human body capable of producing different types of hair. There are two main types of hair.
• Most of the hair covering the human body is small and colorless. This is vellus hair, which helps regulate body temperature. The root of vellus hair is close to the surface and has a small bulb. On the other hand, hair found in several areas, such as the scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes, beard, armpits, torso, and bikini area, is thicker, longer, has more pigment, and is called terminal hair. The bulb of terminal hair is located much deeper in the skin and is much larger compared to vellus hair.
• Terminal hair is removed exclusively with Hot Film wax. Hot Film wax is applied in a thin layer to the skin's surface and hardens within 4-10 seconds. During this time, the skin warms up, the pores open, and the hair becomes smoother and softer. This makes it easier to remove them from the roots without breaking them when the pores are open and the hair muscles are relaxed. The treatment is more effective if Hot Film wax is used on areas with terminal hair.

Waxing treatment with Italwax Film wax:

1. Heat the wax to a working temperature of 40/45°C
2. To degrease the skin and remove any cosmetic product residue, wash the area to be waxed with an alcohol-based lotion before waxing with Aloe.
3. Apply a thin layer of wax with a spatula regardless of the direction of hair growth, but towards yourself, and leave a small "flake" which will later be used as a grip (for underarm hair removal, use in one application). NOTE - Do not rush during application, press the spatula thoroughly using the necessary force.
4. The wax will harden within 4-10 seconds. During this time, the wax will completely capture all the hair (the wax ready for removal should not stick to your hands).
5. Stretch the skin in the opposite direction to the removal, remove the wax with a quick movement away from you and parallel to the skin.
6. Repeat the steps in the next area.
7. After waxing, apply Cooling Gel or Orchid Emulsion to the skin – oil-free products with a soothing and cooling effect.

Common mistakes:

• The wax stretches like caramel and is difficult to remove.

Cause: the wax has not yet hardened.

What to do: sprinkle some talcum powder on the wax, wait 2-3 seconds, and remove.

After removing the wax, some hairs remain.

Cause: the wax was not pressed down hard enough with the spatula during application and the hairs were not properly attached.

What to do: apply wax to the remaining hairs. Press the wax down harder by pressing the spatula against the hair removal area.

The wax does not harden.

Reason: the wax layer is too thick.

What to do: carefully "spread" the applied wax over a larger area. Next time, apply a thinner layer of wax.

The edges of the wax remain on the skin after removal.

Cause: uneven wax application.

What to do: apply an even layer of wax in the middle and at the edges.

How to use:

1. Clean the skin before waxing.
2. Pour a small amount of wax into a saucepan.
3. Heat the wax to the right consistency.
4. If the wax is too thick, heat it for a little longer.
5. Make sure the wax is not too hot.
6. You can apply talcum powder or baby powder before applying the wax.
7. Apply the wax in the direction of hair growth. (Take your time when applying the wax. Press the wax onto the skin with a spatula).
8. The wax hardens within 5-6 seconds. During this time, the wax will catch all the hairs.
9. Lift the applied wax and pull it off quickly (against the grain) along with the hair.
10. Clean the area after waxing with after-wax oil.
11. The day after waxing, it is recommended to use after-wax oil for the next few days to moisturize and soothe the skin.

Precautions:

• Product for professional use, keep away from children, store in a place inaccessible to children.
• Warning! Before waxing, it is essential to check that the temperature of the heated wax is not too high! Excessively high wax temperature may cause skin burns!
• Do not use in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.
• Avoid waxing areas of skin with wounds, sunburn, irritation, varicose veins, or acne. Avoid contact with eyes! In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes. Keep away from children!!!

Contraindications for hair removal:

• Acute and chronic skin diseases in the area of hair removal. Varicose veins in the area of treatment.
