The Saeshin Brillian Medipower is a professional podiatry drill with a built-in dust extraction system. The device combines a drill capable of speeds up to 30,000 rpm with an adjustable dust collector that captures dust generated directly during the procedure.

The Medipower model is equipped with two digital displays, independent adjustment of the drill speed and suction power, and AUTO and MANUAL operating modes. It can be controlled manually or using a foot pedal.

Milling machine and dust collector in a single unit

The dust extraction system is integrated into the HMD02 handpiece. Dust generated during milling is directed into a replaceable bag connected to the control unit.

Saeshin Medipower allows you to choose between two modes for controlling the drill and the suction unit:

• AUTO – the rotational speed and suction power are adjusted simultaneously using the speed knob,
• MANUAL – the rotational speed and suction power can be set independently using two separate knobs.

AUTO mode makes it easy to quickly adjust suction to the current speed of the bur. MANUAL mode provides greater control over each parameter.

The control panel features two independent displays:

• a speed display,
• suction power level display.

Clear readings make it easy to monitor the settings and adjust them to the task at hand.

Independent control of the motor and vacuum

The Motor ON/OFF button allows you to start and stop the handle motor. A separate Vacuum ON/OFF button controls the dust extraction system.

Thanks to independent control, you can use the suction function only when needed.

Manual and foot
controls In HAND mode, the handle is activated using the Motor ON/OFF button located on the control panel.

In FOOT mode, the handle is controlled by the included foot pedal. The motor runs as long as the pedal is pressed. Releasing the pedal stops the motor.

The direction switch allows you to select:

• FWD – forward rotation,
• REV – reverse rotation.

This feature allows you to adjust the rotation direction to suit the task at hand and the operator’s preferences. The direction should only be changed after the motor has come to a complete stop.

Medipower HMD02 Handle

The HMD02 handpiece reaches a maximum speed of 30,000 rpm and is compatible with standard burs featuring a 2.35 mm shank.

The integrated suction system captures dust generated near the treatment site. The included tweezers facilitate the safe removal of burs from the handpiece.

Depending on the bit used and the qualifications of the person performing the procedure, the device can be used for:

The bag should be checked and replaced regularly. Each time the bag is replaced, the manufacturer recommends gently removing the dust accumulated inside the handle in accordance with the user manual.
