1. If you want your design to look like a sheet of liquid metal, apply a small amount of flakes to a base coat that has already been cured under a lamp (it can be a clear base coat with dispersion) and pat them in so they cover the entire surface—you can do this with a soft brush, a finger, or your finger, remove the excess with a soft brush, then cover the entire surface with a top coat (e.g., Doctor Top) and cure the whole thing. Done! It’s very simple, isn’t it?
2. If you want to achieve only irregular shapes of scattered particles in a metallic shade—simply use, for example, your favorite hybrid polish and a top coat without dispersion or with dispersion (each will give a different effect! With dispersion—a slightly stronger 3D effect; without dispersion—a more delicate, foil-like effect), apply a few flakes, then cover the entire surface once more with a top coat and cure. Done.
